The Living Word

I finished the pages of my Spiritual Journal already! I don't know this is the number what Spiritual Journal but I have an encyclopedia of them already. Haha. One day, I'm gonna sit down and read whatever I wrote in all of them.

----------

I don't know how one persone can read this scripture from the word of God and still remain defeated. For the scripture, the living Word, breathes life -- It was what made Adam & Eve when God said "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness" (Genesis 1:26). And this breath of life certainly revives. This double-edged sword penetrates the soul like no other.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him and his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authoriy, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
Eph 1:18-21

Love ♥

I don't know what I'm thinking, getting another blog when I can't even manage my first one. LOL. Just felt there was a need to so let's see how this turns out.

----------

Look at love from God's point of view.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

No matter how I talk, no matter how I convince people, I will never be able to fully understand and experience what they're going through.

But there is one thing that I've experienced, that I've understood and that I can guarantee, and that is that God will be with them till the very end of time, that they cannot say that they are lonely or dejected unless they deny the very presence of God.

Love is the thing that goes against human nature. It is so easy to hate, to want revenge, to harbor bitterness and just to ignore the loving part. It is harder to love than to accept love, that's why when love is really shown, it's worth it because that's the essence of God's power, the foundation upon what our faith is built on.

Without love, would God have sent His only son? Without love, what did Jesus possess other than that to motivate Him to die on the cross? Without love, this world would be an ugly place.

He is the God of love. Love generates peace, peace generates hope. But God generates love.

Love is more than what the world makes it to be. Love is so much deeper than that and understanding it would mean understanding God better.

First Post

Hello!

You might know me better as Miss Kon @ http://getaloadof-this.blogspot.com . I decided to get an e-Spiritual Journal for easier reference for myself and also in hope that you might be blessed by reading my posts here.

I decided this would be easier than lumping both my Spiritual Diary and my Thought Diary into one blog since in real life I have two separate ones too. Girls will just be girls, huh. Everything also need diary!

But, I can't help it. It's how I express myself. Over these few years, I've realised that I express myself best in words.

So there you go. :)
